This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multifamily property management professional looking to transition from property operations to the ownership side of the business.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of apartment operations, leasing, revenue management, and property performance. You'll work closely with ownership, property management teams, and vendors to help maximize the performance of a multifamily portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze property performance and prepare operational reports.
  • Run reports and interpret data using property management software.
  • Assist with revenue management by reviewing pricing, renewals, occupancy, concessions, and leasing trends.
  • Audit online marketing across platforms such as Apartments.com, Zillow, Rent.com, and other ILS sites to ensure pricing, photos, and property information are accurate.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams to follow up on operational initiatives and capital projects.
  • Review vendor proposals and renovation bids for completeness and pricing.
  • Assist with unit renovation coordination, including ordering materials such as flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and other finishes.
  • Track capital improvement projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Communicate regularly with regional managers, property managers, and vendors.
  • Prepare meeting materials and assist with portfolio reporting.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to improve property performance.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Travel -  Occasional travel to properties may be required (typically a few days per month).

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
  • Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant, Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Regional Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience with RealPage or Yardi is required.
  • Experience with YieldStar (or other revenue management software) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of apartment operations, leasing, resident retention, renewals, occupancy, and revenue management.
  • Ability to read and understand vendor bids, proposals, and scopes of work.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting capital improvement or renovation projects.
  • Exposure to ownership, asset management, or investment firms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent multifamily experience will be considered.

WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for someone who loves multifamily housing and wants to grow beyond day-to-day property operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, digging into data, improving property performance, and becoming a trusted partner to the Asset Manager. This role offers significant exposure to ownership-level decision-making and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in multifamily asset management.
